GOAL

CIRTD will dedicate its resources for the empowerment and emancipation of the disadvantaged women, children and men by raising their crucial conscious, releasing their creative potentials and building people’s organisation to improve their socio- economic status enabling establishment to genuine democracy and good governance.

BROAD OBJECTIVES

• To act as an umbrella organisation by establishing regional, national and international networks with other individuals, organisations, community based organisations (CBOs) and cultural groups with similar aims and objective.

• To evolve a comprehensive plan of actions addressing the basic amenities in areas of livelihood, health, culture, education etc. to foster the cause of democracy, plural co-existence and dignified living for all.

• To launch people’s campaign in support of progressive nationalism respecting multi- ethnic and multi cultural society.

• To celebrate and popularize the ideals of collectivism rooted in popular belief, culture and vernacular wisdom.

• To serve as a shared platform for like minded people from various fields including writers, artists, social activities and so on.
